Every year Mary Ann and I and a few brave volunteers plan a Christmas project to bless those that are less fortunate and need a blessing during the holidays.
This year is no different and we have selected three organizations to assist for Christmas: people living with cancer, individuals and families with HIV/AIDS, and newly arrived ex-offenders and their children, in all about 450 people will recieve a blessing.
Christmas is not a joyful occasion for many that are sick and impoverished, in fact, many commit suicide and many others suffer deep depression because of the stress of the holiday season. Imagine yourself in that position, broke, just out of prison or suffering from a terminal disease and your children with nothing for Christmas.
Most people in America don't realize how many families suffer, not only at Christmas, but all year long. Jesus came to save us from our sin and to give us a chance for a new way of life, a new beginning with all of the promises of His gracious provision, but those that don't know Him are alone and without.
We want to bless the needy, not only with food and personal items, but with the love of Jesus that was abundantly poured out for all that would receive it. It is amazing to me that with all of the churches in America how many people still don't know Jesus as their Savior. It is time we told them, not only with preaching but with faith in action. We want to make a difference in the lives of the poor and underprivileged.
If you would like to volunteer to help us, we need people to sort food and to be a part in giving it out during the holiday season. We could also use any financial gift that you can offer to offset our cost of personal items that are given out. Much of the food we receive is donated, but we have to purchase sugar free food for special needs, and personal items that many can't afford.
If you would like to send a gift you can make your tax-deductible donation to:

If you would like to volunteer please email us and we will give you all the information that you will need to know about the project. May the Lord bless you abundantly!

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever, Amen.
