Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required of stewards that one be found faithful. I Corinthians 4:1,2

A steward is someone who can be trusted with another's possessions and we as believers have been entrusted with the mysteries of the kingdom. The mysteries of God are the revelations that we are given through meditation of the scripture and by the leading of Holy Spirit in intersession.

Not everyone has eyes to see, or ears to hear, only those who are faithful to seek the Lord from a pure heart and motive. Bible study is good, but many times it only leads to knowledge as from a history book and as the apostle Paul told Timothy, they are always learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth! Revelation comes from the throne of the Most High given to those who will give it out to those who are worthy to receive.

The scripture instructs us not to throw our pearls before swine, in other words don't give what is holy to the unclean, those who cannot receive that which you have been given because they cannot see spiritually and so we must as stewards be led by the Holy Spirit's voice.

"Who then is that faithful and wise steward whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? "Blessed is that servant who his master will find so doing when he comes." Luke 12:42,43
