The Promises of God: Part CLV

But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" Luke 10:29

One afternoon I was teaching a bible study on loving God and your neighbor. I lived on a farm in Springtown and after the study I drove home and, on the way, I came down to a stop sign at the main highway and looked to the right and saw a man lying in the weeds.

So, I ignored the man and turned on to the highway, after all it was rush hour and then the Holy Spirit spoke! "And you just got through teaching what?"Clear as a bell His voice convicted me, and I turned back and picked the guy up. The man was dirty and sunburned looking like he had been in the street a long time. I questioned him about his condition and at the same time thought how I was going to help him!

When I came to the turn off to the farm, I had decided to do anything I could for this man to help him back into life and all of a sudden, he said to me, let me out! I asked him why and he told me he was scared because he had been in the streets a long time. I told him to go down the street a couple of blocks to a men's mission and I would go home get some clothes and meet him there. When I returned, I asked at the mission where the big guy was, and they told me they hadn't seen him. I rushed up and down the highway looking for him but to no avail until the Holy Spirit told me he was angel come to test my heart!

Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. Hebrew 13:1,2

Your servant in Christ, Timothy Laughlin
Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Tim Laughlin has been involved in full time ministry for over thirty-five years. Set free from a $2000.00 a week cocaine addiction and fifteen years of alcoholism, Tim gave his life to Jesus in 1980 and was immediately delivered. Trained in the streets, led only by the Holy Spirit, Tim prayed for drug addicts, prostitutes and anyone else that wanted to be free from the strongholds of sin. With a burning desire to see people saved and healed Tim founded and directed several Christian residential programs such as Manna Ministries, one of the largest and most successful women's ministries in the Southwest. Apostle to the ''NO-BODY'S'' of this world, Tim has been involved in virtually every facet of ministry, from prison, ex offenders, UN-wed mothers, addicts, Gays and those that nobody wants. Without formal training and only a love for people Tim has seen hundreds set free, healed, delivered and raised from the dead by God's powerful anointing available to everyone that asks Him. Through many trials and fires in his own life Tim has learned to trust in the Lord for all of his needs and to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance in every circumstance. His vision is for the Body of Christ to become the powerful army of disciples that God intended them to be, trained for battle and loving people from all walks of life. Tim's wife, Mary Ann works along side him ministering and training those that come for help. Deemed hopeless from extended drug abuse and surviving five mental institutions, Mary Ann was set free and healed miraculously and restored to a beautiful woman of God. Tim and Mary Ann are available to speak to your church or organization. Personal counseling and individual training are available upon request. Drug and alcohol addiction therapy is also available for adults and teens through support groups and referrals.
