And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses,
commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. II Timothy 2:2

The Promises of God: Part CXII

So, Elisha turned back from Elijah and took a yoke of oxen and slaughtered them and boiled their flesh, using the oxen's equipment and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he arose and followed Elijah and became his servant. I Kings 19:21

Elijah is a type and shadow of the Lord Jesus and Elisha is a type and shadow of the future church with twelve apostles who left their livelihood to follow Jesus. In the previous scripture Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal, Jezebel's own prophetic voice!

Elijah told the prophets to build an altar and sacrifice a bull and he would do the same and the God who answered by fire would be God. And so, it was Elijah prepared the wood on the altar and the sacrifice and poured water upon the wood, the stones, the sacrifice, and it filled a trench around the altar.

The prophets of Baal cried out to their god all day as they cut themselves and Elijah mocked them until the time of the evening sacrifice. Elijah then called upon God and asked that He hear him so that this people would know that He is Lord! This is a type and shadow of the church to come in the future when the fire of Holy Spirit would fill His people!

Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench. Now when all the people saw it they fell on their faces and they said, "The Lord, He is God! The Lord He is God!" I Kings 18:38,39

Your servant in Christ, Timothy Laughlin
Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Tim Laughlin has been involved in full time ministry for over thirty-five years. Set free from a $2000.00 a week cocaine addiction and fifteen years of alcoholism, Tim gave his life to Jesus in 1980 and was immediately delivered. Trained in the streets, led only by the Holy Spirit, Tim prayed for drug addicts, prostitutes and anyone else that wanted to be free from the strongholds of sin. With a burning desire to see people saved and healed Tim founded and directed several Christian residential programs such as Manna Ministries, one of the largest and most successful women's ministries in the Southwest. Apostle to the ''NO-BODY'S'' of this world, Tim has been involved in virtually every facet of ministry, from prison, ex offenders, UN-wed mothers, addicts, Gays and those that nobody wants. Without formal training and only a love for people Tim has seen hundreds set free, healed, delivered and raised from the dead by God's powerful anointing available to everyone that asks Him. Through many trials and fires in his own life Tim has learned to trust in the Lord for all of his needs and to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance in every circumstance. His vision is for the Body of Christ to become the powerful army of disciples that God intended them to be, trained for battle and loving people from all walks of life. Tim's wife, Mary Ann works along side him ministering and training those that come for help. Deemed hopeless from extended drug abuse and surviving five mental institutions, Mary Ann was set free and healed miraculously and restored to a beautiful woman of God. Tim and Mary Ann are available to speak to your church or organization. Personal counseling and individual training are available upon request. Drug and alcohol addiction therapy is also available for adults and teens through support groups and referrals. For more information please contact us. ***Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."   Psalms 103: 2-4***
