The Promises of God: Part LXXVII

    For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways, in their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:11,12

    God has ordained His angels to protect and keep watch over us His children. Even beforewe are saved our angels have been there, many times when we have been in danger or in need of an angelic rescue!

    There have been times in my life that I have sensed their presence, one such instance was when I ran an intersection and hit a car broadside on my motorcycle, an angel was there to lift me up over the hood and set me down on the other side. Another time at a church service in the high school auditorium we were all praising God when all of a sudden from the corner of the ceiling it was like a choir of five thousand chimed in and almost blew us out of the place!

    The word says that some have entertained angels and one day I picked up a street person, a big guy who was lying in the weeds and was taking him to my farm to minister to him and meet his needs when all of a sudden, he said, "Let me out!" He told me he was scared and had been on the streets too long. I let him out at a men's mission and went home to get him some clothes and when I returned, he was gone, and no one had seen him then God confirmed to me that he was an angel sent to test me to see if I was going to help him or not. I passed the test and began a ministry that would last years.

    Are the angels not ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? Hebrews 1:14

Tim Laughlin has been involved in full time ministry for over thirty-five years. Set free from a $2000.00 a week cocaine addiction and fifteen years of alcoholism, Tim gave his life to Jesus in 1980 and was immediately delivered. Trained in the streets, led only by the Holy Spirit, Tim prayed for drug addicts, prostitutes and anyone else that wanted to be free from the strongholds of sin. With a burning desire to see people saved and healed Tim founded and directed several Christian residential programs such as Manna Ministries, one of the largest and most successful women's ministries in the Southwest. Apostle to the ''NO-BODY'S'' of this world, Tim has been involved in virtually every facet of ministry, from prison, ex offenders, UN-wed mothers, addicts, Gays and those that nobody wants. Without formal training and only a love for people Tim has seen hundreds set free, healed, delivered and raised from the dead by God's powerful anointing available to everyone that asks Him. Through many trials and fires in his own life Tim has learned to trust in the Lord for all of his needs and to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance in every circumstance. His vision is for the Body of Christ to become the powerful army of disciples that God intended them to be, trained for battle and loving people from all walks of life. Tim's wife, Mary Ann works along side him ministering and training those that come for help. Deemed hopeless from extended drug abuse and surviving five mental institutions, Mary Ann was set free and healed miraculously and restored to a beautiful woman of God.
