For our citizenship (community) is in Heaven from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:20
When we become born from above and transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit, we become citizens of a supernatural kingdom in which we are set free from the bonds of this earth. We are in the world, but we are no longer to be a part of it being transferred or conveyed into the realm of the Spirit.
In regards to our new supernatural life in Christ we are not to concern ourselves with politics or the current state of the economy or even the world's condition because it is passing away and we are being transferred from glory to glory. Many misunderstand our position in the world as believers and want to try and change the political atmosphere by becoming involved as though voting can change a person's heart. The power of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is the only power that can change mankind and we are commissioned to preach it to every creature and make disciples of those who are saved!
We are a royal priesthood of the house of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior, healer and provider in whom we serve during the time of our stay upon the planet. Our mission is to reap a divine harvest of lost souls and make them followers of Him in whom we have placed our trust! There is little precious time for us to be involved with the affairs of this life when there is so much to do in regards to the saving and discipling of the lost who are falling into the fires of Hell by the millions!
For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live, no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. II Corinthians 5:14,15
