HIS PURPOSE FOR OUR DESTINY
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed (transferred) us into the kingdom of the Son of His love. Colossians 1:13
When we become new creations in Christ by becoming born again, having our sins washed away by His blood and repenting of our old lifestyle we are conveyed into the kingdom of God! In other words we are translated from one place, our earthly dwelling, to another place, His kingdom.
I understand convey, being in the conveyor business for years and the primary job of a conveyor is to transfer something from point A to point B. Sounds simple, but once the Holy Spirit has descended into our spirit we are immediately transferred into a heavenly realm in the spirit just as Jesus was also resurrected from the natural fleshly Man to a supernatural heavenly Man by the Spirit. In a sense we are resurrected from earth to Heaven by the spiritual transformation of the Spirit making us sons and daughters of the Most High, residing in the kingdom of His Son.
Upon our resurrection we are delivered from the power of darkness that once held us captive by the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit and we are immediately given all power and authority over them to defeat the forces of evil. As Jesus Christ is in the earth, so are we and endowed with power from on high! We are the supernatural expression of Christ in the earth, buried with Him and resurrected in Him to Glory!
Buried with Him in baptism, (death to the self life) in which you also were raised (resurrected) with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements (certificate of debt) that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed, principalities and powers, He made a public display of them triumphing over them in it. Colossians 2:12-15
