I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1

You are a gift to God, given as a living sacrifice for Him to do with you whatever He desires! Upon denying your rights to live your life any way you please, you have become consecrated unto Him, a servant and bond-slave of Christ. In other words you were free to live, but now have submitted all rights to the self-life and have come under the leading and dominance of Holy Spirit's control.

Most believers can quote Romans 12:1 but few have given their lives totally to the Lord Jesus Christ in obedience and servitude, refusing to deny themselves, they become prisoners in a man-centered religious setting and continue to live for themselves and not for Him who died for them. Disciples are those who have come under the discipline of another in obedience to their will and wishes. Those who followed Jesus gave up all and denied the right to a self-centered life.

When I first began this journey I intended to go back into the business world and resume living for myself when Jesus came to my office one morning and together we went to a cemetery where we had my funeral and He gave me a choice, to serve Him or to continue to serve myself, I chose Him and for thirty eight years I have served Him through the good, the bad and the ugly!

For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. II Corinthians 5:14,15 "One for all, and all for One!"
